Amy Wadge
Heralded as 'The New Joni Mitchell' by the London Evening
Standard, singer songwriter Amy Wadge has supported Lenny
Kravitz; Eric Bibb and Brian Kennedy and toured with Jeff
Beck, including two nights at The Royal Albert Hall. She's
had The Stereophonics open for her; received a nomination for
"Best Newcomer" at the televised Pop Factory Awards, and
has been voted "Best Female Solo Artist" at the Welsh Music
Awards - twice! She's played the Cambridge Folk Festival
and the Mardi Gras in Cardiff to 30,000 people, and The
R.M.A. Tavern in Eastney to 100! Amy writes breathtaking
songs, with stunning turns of phrase delivered through an
emotive voice.
Live, Amy is equally mesmerising performing with just her
guitar, or with her band, featuring Jonathan Thomas on bass/
pedal steel and Aled Richards (ex-Catatonia) on drums.
Occasionally, Dave Bronze (from Eric Clapton's band) steps
in on bass.
