STATE OF UNDRESS

Although their music is often described as folk/rock, that hardly does justice to their wide repertoire of easily accessible songs, sometimes including cover version of songs by bands such as R.E.M., The Levellers, The Stereophonics and The Waterboys. The core of the band is husband and wife team Alan and Charlie Rose who have been writing songs and performing locally as a due and with various line-ups for about 14 years. Other band members are Steve Adams (also in The Hedge Monkeys), on guitars and banjo, Felix Gibbons on percussion, Clare Monaghan (also in Celtic Dream) on whistle, fiddle and bodhran. At the end of last year, they produced their first CD, "Undressed".
