"Their dynamism and exceptional musicianship would be enough to mark out
Reconsider as something special, but the fact is that no other band in the UK
is doing what Reconsider are doing. Their sophisticated brand of modern blues
draws inspiration both from the funky and brassy sound of such legendary
Memphis performers as Albert King, and from the fearsome Texas guitar style
of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Albert Collins. Throw in some jazz influence and
you have a group of players who are set to establish their own unique brand
of blues for the 21st century. A young band who know how to funk it up.
Tremendous vocals from the beautiful Fliss, with jump-jive, boogie-woogie,
jazz, soul & downhome blues. These guys can do it. And how!"
Reconsider were the opening act at Bishopstock Festival and featured on the
Bishopstock Festival CD "Keeping the Faith".

What the reviews said....
- "....pristinely recorded, entirely self-penned......it shows they can really
hack it, can't wait to see them live.....cleaner than clean production...."
(Blueprint Magazine)
- "....I just had to give this CD a plug.....the band have released this quite
excellent album themselves.......a fine production job matches the quality of
the music which blends blues, soul and jazz quite superbly...."
(Jethro Tull Magazine)
- "....this is their first album and what a start....the CD is subtle, mellow,
seductive, swinging, soothing and well written...."
(Blues Matters Magazine)
