OX - Mark Browning
Ox is the brainchild of Mark Browning, a Canadian singer guitarist and
songwriter from a folk background. His appearance at The R.M.A. earlier this year
was astounding - and Mark became the first artiste here to sell out of CD's,
vinyl albums and even T shirts!
Ox/Mark Browning has released three albums, 'YEARS OF SADNESS' (2000);
'BALLADS, LOVE SONGS & GASOLINE' (2001); and 'DUST BOWL REVIVAL' which reached
number on the Canadian National College Radio chart.
Ox/Mark Browning has been WEST COAST MUSIC AWARD nominee (MALE ARTIST OF THE
YEAR) in 2000 and 2001
He has had hit singles with 'TRANSAM' in 2003 & 'GASOLINE' in 2001, both of
which were heavily featured on CBC national radio. His video 'GASOLINE'
(2001) was featured on "MUCH MORE MUSIC" (Canada's national music station)
Tours over the past five years have included Canada, the UK, and the USA. If
you like Neil Young and Bob Dylan's "John Wesley Harding" period, you'll love
Ox!
