Ruthless Blues - Bullfrog Blues Club - 5th December 2024

The Bullfrog Blues Club (Portsmouth's longest running blues club - about to
enter its 25th year) is proud to welcome RUTHLESS BLUES to Southsea on
Thursday 5th December at The Dockyard Club, Onslow Rd., Portsmouth PO5 2NH.

RUTHLESS BLUES have been playing the blues for 45 years now - after
originally forming in 1979. The band were icons of the London blues-rock
scene and we are thrilled that Stevie Smith - -the band's singer and
harmonica virtuoso - who joined the band in 1985- is bringing them to the
club. As well as Ruthless Blues, Stevie played harmonica with Bad Manners,
Salt, Long John Baldry and many others.

Over the 45 years this band have been playing the line ups have changed -
and there was even a change of name to Sin House for a short time. However,
what's remained constant is great blues played well with a sense of fun.

The Bullfrog team are really looking forward to this gig, and I'm coming
over from my home in Ireland for this - it's definitely one not to be
missed!
