Dave is a phenomenal artist. A great guitar player and vocalist, an accomplished songwriter and a traditional fiddler, a boogie blues piano player and a competition standard five string banjo picker. As if that's not enough, he is also an outstanding dancer using a combination of flatfoot and clogging styles often when playing one of his stringed instruments." Blues In The South. For over twenty years Stompin' Dave has worked exclusively as a musician. He has made well over two hundredfestival appearances, including many major ones, such as Glastonbury, Bestival and Camp Bestival. He has releasedover thirty albums. "Let's face it, in adding the quality of his original material the man is a downright genius." Blues In Britain. Earl Jackson born of Jamaican parents in 1964 has been an in demand performer since starting his first band in the 1980s. He has appeared on BBC radio and TV including the Jonathan Ross Show. Earl was awarded Best Blues Singer2017 by The Jools Holland Boisdale Music Awards. "Entertainment with a capital 'e'" The Mad Rat Magazine. Earl who sings, plays guitar, bass, and drums is also a tireless promoter of blues music. For many years he has been part of the Boogaloo Promotions team alongside Blues Matters Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Monica Madgwick.Boogaloo Promotions run live music weekends across the country, as well as regular events at the Farnham Maltings. Dave and Earl have been regularly performing together for over ten years, in that time they have made many barnstorming appearances nationwide and abroad. Do not miss this event!
