This fabulous four piece blues band are led by guitarist and vocalist Steve Roux, together with keyboard maestro Ray Drury, top bass player Steve Browning, and the legendary drummer Bernie Fox. These guys have played with some of the best and most famous musicians of our time! Back in 1993 Steve Roux signed to EMI/Virgins' blues label, who also boasted Albert Collins, Johnny Winter, Pop Staples, John Lee Hooker, John Hammond and `Wolfman' Washington amongst their number. Steve recorded his debut album in Memphis USA at the legendary Kiva Recording Studios; it was released in 1994 and received great critical acclaim. At the Coln Music Festival in Germany Steve was invited onstage by label mate Albert Collins to join him for his encore along with Robben Ford - they played an extended version of Albert's instrumental `Frosty' to an ecstatic crowd, which was broadcast live on national radio. Later, Steve formed The White Knuckles Blues Band , who released the `It Might Just Be Too Late' album in 2012. Bernie Fox is a highly experienced session drummer and live performer, who's played with Taj Mahal, Eric Bibb, Savoy Brown, Sherman Robertson and Jimmy Witherspoon. Steve Roux and Bernie have played together for over 26 years - they were both founder members of White Knuckle Blues Band and Brass Knuckle Blues Band. Later the band added a brass section, and became The Brass Knuckle Blues Band - they released "Live at the Boarhunt Blues Club" CD the following year. In 2014 Bernie was voted best drummer in the Bronte Blues Club Awards. Keyboard player Ray Drury supported many top acts including Curtis Mayfield, Gloria Gaynor, Edwin Starr, Dave Ruffin and Geno Washington before he moving into the blues and jazz funk genre. Ray played throughout the UK and Europe (and even the Bahamas) with the award-winning blues band The Producers, with whom he has won "Best UK Keyboard Player" in the Bronte Blues Club Awards, and a top three spot in "Blues Matters" writer's poll alongside such luminaries as Paddy Milner and Bob Hall. Bass player Steve Browning turned pro in 1989 and joined The Pretty Things, touring all over the UK and Europe. During this time he's also played with other top artists including David Gilmour and Ronnie Spector. Since then Steve has performed and toured constantly and played with many bands including Chicago bluesman Khalif Wailin' Walter, and San Francisco psych legends Aguilar Blumenfeld Project and Woodstock legend Barry "The Fish" Melton of Country Joe & The Fish , with whom he played a storming gig at The Bullfrog Blues Club . Steve has also played at Glastonbury and a headlining spot at the 2011 Isle Of Wight Festival with ' 60s Californian legends It's A Beautiful Day.
