Ready for a unique and talented take on a wide range of musical traditions? Well you better come down to the Bullfrog Blues Club at The Dockyard Club, Onslow Rd, Southsea, PO5 2NH this Thursday, 1st October and see Claude Bourbon. Doors will open at 7 p.m, Claude will be on stage at 8.p.m and we will finish the music at 10 p.m, when the bar will be closed, to conform to the government's regulations. Obviously we are going to ensure that your safety comes first... * We will have a one-way system in place for entry and exit to the club. *The bar in the function hall will be opened for drinks - no one can enter the member's bar. *We won't have any problems in social distancing as we're laying out the room accordingly and limiting the numbers to 50 people. *You MUST wear a mask until you're seated, or if leaving your seat to go to the toilet or the outside smoking area. . *Everyone's name and contact number will be recorded for 'track and trace' and kept on record for 21 days. * Everybody's temperature will be scanned on entry -anybody showing a high reading won't be allowed in. Now based in the north of England, Claude was at one time based on Portsmouth, and many will remember his incredible gigs at The Bullfrog Blues Club when we were on South Parade Pier. Claude is known throughout Europe and America for his breathtaking acoustic fusion of blues, jazz, folk, classical and Spanish guitar . A true virtuoso, his amazing guitar performances include delta blues, Spanish, and Middle Eastern stylings. Claude's influences allow us a fascinating insight into this remarkable musician's diverse influences - from JJ Cale to Richie Blackmore, Paco De Lucia, Joaquin Rodrigo, and JS BachâEUR?.
