Red Sky Divers This is the band that Denis Reeve-Baker, guitarist and songwriter of Reet Petite and Gone fame, has assembled with colleagues at the University. The quartet lines up with two guitars, clarinet and saxophone to perform mainly Denis’s songs. This will be one of their first outings together, so it’s an opportunity not to be missed. The Wireless Two guitars, a double bass and a slightly odd repertoire. Turn the dial to Hilversum, put the cat out and tune in. And, as always, there will also be the odd surprise guest or two doing a short spot. It’s an acoustic evening, with a listening audience in a hall with great acoustics, , so there’s no P/A. There' s no admission charge, just a collection to pay for the cost of hiring the hall, and anything left over will be split between the billed acts shown above. Doors open at 7.30pm, show time is at 8pm. And the evening will finish at 11pm. The hall is not licensed for the sale of intoxicating liquor., so bring your own booze, soft drinks and nibbles. Milton Village Hall is on Milton Road, next to the Beddowes Library, opposite Posbrooke Road and about 80 metres south of the Milton Arms.
