It's coming up St Patricks' Day!! And what better way of celebrating than with The Moonshine Mothers? The band appear at Little Johnny's Rusell's in Albert Rd., Southsea on St Patricks Day ( Thursday 17th March) and at The Golden Eagle, Fawcett Rd., Southsea, on Saturday 19th March. Admission for both events is FREE and start at 9 p.m. p.m. The Moonshine Mothers create a powerful electro-acoustic blend of Americana music (Southern rock, bluegrass, Cajun) and Celtic (jigs, reels and more) Pete Clark ‘s multifaceted mandolin and slide guitar playing leads the band, with a showcase of bluegrass, Cajun, rock, and Celtic strains, Graham Jones creates the high energy and subtle shades propelling the band along its transatlantic journey with amazing acoustic and electric guitars skills, whilst , "Greg" Gregory’s bass glues it all together with precision executed lines. Razor sharp percussion is provided by Carl Jacobs, showman extraordinaire, the heartbeat of the band Providing the all important rock vocals is the indomitable Alan Dominey, simply the best rock vocalist and front man, whilst Celtic vocals (and banjo!), are provided by Simon Cattermole. MOONSHINE MOTHERS appear at Lirtte Johnny's Russell's, Albert Rd., Southsea on St Patricks Day Thursday 17th March and on Saturday at The Golden Eagle on Fawcett Rd., Southsea, Admission for both events is FREE!
