Well, Xmas is over, and we're looking forward to New Year's Eve! 2012 certainly looks like being a cracker of year for The Bullfrog Blues Club, we have a great line up of artistes lined up for you, with many old favourites, and some new top class artistes! And who better to kick off the year than the sensational ROBIN BIBI BAND on Thursday 5th January? It promises to be a great night, and Robin's doing a "gig of two halves", as one set will be his superb tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan, which has been knockin' 'em dead every place the band have played. For those of you who don't know abpout Robin (where have you BEEN?!?) he was a member of The Pretty Things, played with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page and many many others. A superb talent and a great showman! Club is a great 150 + capacity venue, with a proper stage, a well stocked bar at club prices. Head west on South Parade, and after less than 100 yards take the first right into Clarendon Rd. After a short while you’ll come to a roundabout. Go straight on (Burgoyne Road is on the left, Waverley Rd on the right - there’s a night club on the corner). After about 500 yards Onslow Rd is on the left. The N.B.E.C.S.A. Thurs 5.4.12 WATERMELON SLIM - a true "one off", this guy is VEREY special - if you like Seasick Steve, Watermelon Slim is definitely for you! We are very, very lucky to have managed to book this guy. Thurs 10.5.12 SINNERBOY - Barry Barnes and the guys perform an evening of the ,music of Rory Galalgher - with a new line -up; just to keep things fresh!
