THIS IS ONE GIG NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!! KING KING's debut gig was .lastyear, at Ireland's top blues festival, the Harvest Time Blues Festival in Monaghan. KING KING have some amazing gigs lined up for 2010 all over Europe, and festivalappearances include Glastonbury. The recording received airplay onradio stations in the UK, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, India, Canada andthe USA., and our good friend Julian Moores, organiser of the 'Blues On The Farm' festival, was so impressed that he booked KING KING - despite having already filled the bill!. KING KING also played Maryport Blues Festival, (following Jethro Tullon the main stage before an audience of 22,000), the Shetland Blues Festival, whilst European appearances included headlining Hookrock Festival. Front man Alan Nimmo is widely known across the UK and Europe from The Nimmo Brothers. His full-blooded style, technicalbrilliance on guitar and impassioned vocals are legendary. Bass player Lindsay Coulson has played in The Aynsley Lister Band as well as The Nimmo Brothers, whilst Bennett Holland on keyboards has worked with aplethora of names including Groove Armada andRichard Hawley. Craig Blundell, the band's drummer, was recently described by'Drummer' magazine as “one of the UK's most versatile and staggeringlytalented players”.
