Well, with an endorsement like that, how can you resist going along to the Cellars at Eastney next Tuesday, 26th May? JON CLEARY is one of the finest keys men and vocalists in the world, and on Tuesday you have the rare chance to see him in the intimate surroundings of The Cellars. Last year’s band show (JON CLEARY & THE ABSOLUTE MONSTER GENTLEMEN) was astounding and Jon’s solo gigs are in a class all of their own. JON CLEARY is a triple treat - with a salty-sweet voice, masterful piano skills, and a knack for coupling infectious grooves with melodic hooks and sharp lyrics. He balances a career performing with his band THE ABSOLUTE MONSTER GENTLEMEN and BONNIE RAITT, recording with both groups, and composing songs for various artists. His live shows are an explosive funk party mixing old school soul with the rhythms of New Orleans.
