Hi everyone, A reminder.... evening tickets are going fast for SOUTHSEA FOLK & ROOTS FESTIVAL events on South Parade Pier, so to avoid di buy yours NOW on www.barkingspider.abelgratis.com/festival/ (secure purchases via Paypal) and pick them up at any time during the Festival. Or you can take your chance on the door..... the ticket office at the Albert Tavern, South Parade Pier opens from 8 p.m on Friday 28th August, then 12 noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th & Monday 31st, and at 8 p.m. each of those evenings. You can catch jam sessions, singarounds, shanty singers, trad sessions, celtic rock, trad & folk singer/guitarists, didgeridoo players, and blues bands,duos and solo players. As Festival bookers Barking Spider Promotions also or ganise The Bullfrog Blues Club, there's free entry "fringe" blues gigs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, prior to our Monday free entry daytime blues special on the Pier. Monday's festival finale is the evening gig from THE DEBORAH BONHAM BAND - featuring the sister of Led Zeppelin's drummer John Bonham, and Robbie Blount, who is also guitarist for both Robert Plant and Paul McCartney.
