Amy Wadge - Eastney Cellars on 2nd May !

Award winning singer-songwriter
Amy Wadge  appears at The Cellars At Eastney on Saturday May 2nd.   Having played
support on major tours with Eric Bibb and Jeff Beck over the last couple of
years, she has also just released a new album “Bump" which has
been getting excellent reviews.

Amy was getting her first
Radio 1 airplay at the age of just 14. As half of the girl-group Two of A Mind
she recorded a cover version of “The Great Pretender” which reached number 75 in
the charts. Aged 16, Amy decided to go solo, performing as a singer/songwriter. .

Her first single “Saddest Eyes” was released in 2001 and in 2002 she followed it
up with the mini album “The Famous Hour” which drew a huge response,  and led to
Amy playing at the BBC 6 launch party alongside Lenny Kravitz and Embrace.

Amy has  played the Cambridge Folk Festival, Cropredy, Southsea Folk & Roots Festival - and the Mardi Gras in Cardiff to
30,000 people. As if this wasn't enough  she  headlined  the 'Welsh Night' at the Lorient Interceltique Festival in France to 40,000 people, and  was  heralded by the French National Press as the 'highlight' the Festival.

Don't miss this great night with this top artiste! This promises to be a brilliant evening.
