BEX MARSHALL at The R.M.A. tonight, Sat 25th October! FREE ENTRY!

Don't forget the fabulous BEX MARSHALL at The R.M.A.Tavern, Cromwell Rd., Eastney, Portsmouth  tonight!!!!!!
Entry is free, but the way things are going with Bex's career, it's not always going to be this way!

If you've been living under a rock and  have never heard Bex Marshall, suffice to say she's  is an explosion of red hot acoustic roots rock blues, with a touch of bluegrass. An artist of jaw dropping ability, she's  a voice like Janis Joplin, the guitar style of Bonnie Raitt, and the originality of Memphis Minnie.  She's real life troubadour, abounding in humour and wit who belts it out, rips it up, and delivers a superb performance!

Her musical influences are varied and many - Muddy Waters to Led Zeppelin, Joplin (Scott and Janis) to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jose Feliciano to Bob Dylan…

The Fleadh 2004 in Finsbury Park London saw Bex on the bill with Bob Dylan, Counting Crows and John Prine.

Glastonbury festival 2005 saw Bex play on four shows,w hich led to her playing  a full 28-date summer tour with the  sell out bluegrass band Hayseed Dixie, culminating at the London Forum.

The International Guitar Festival 2006 in Clonakilty, County Cork, Ireland, found Bex as the first and only woman ever to be invited to the festival, where she shared the stage with Thin Lizzy's Eric Bell and Preston Reed.

Dale and Don Wayne Reno of Hayseed Dixie guest on three of Bex’s studio tracks on her new album, "Kitchen Table".
