Guitar legend ALBERT LEE at South Parade Pier tonight - Thursday 27th November! The legendary ALBERT LEE appears at South Parade Pier on Thursday 27th November with Hogan's Heroes - TONIGHT!!!! It is widely quoted that Eric Clapton is on record as stating that Albert Lee is, his opinion, "the greatest guitarist in the world." The "guitar player's guitar player" - who has been playing professinally since 1961 - has an illustrious career which includes playing with Chris Farlowe & The Thunderbirds, forming Heads Hands & Feet and Country Fever (supporting George Hamilton IV, Bobby Bare and Skeeter Davis) playing sessions for Jerry Lee Lewis, touring and recording with The Crickets, The Everley Brothers. and Joe Cocker, was a member of Emmylou Harris’ Hot Band and was in Eric Clapton's band for five years. . Albert Lee also tours with (ex- Rolling Stone) Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, and also the celebrity supergroup The Biff Baby All Stars, together with Eddie Van Halen, Steve Morse and Steve Luthakar.
