This is a little way off yet but I thought I'd give you some advance notice of a great opportunity for budding blues pickers to get a lesson from one of the best playesr on the circuit! The workshop last year was a blast, Toby is not only a great player but also a very generous teacher (the two don't always go hand in hand) making sure everyone felt comfortable and involved. The workshop will feature standard tuning and slide styles, a resonator guitar is not necessary. Tony is playing at the Cellars in Eastney the following night, a perfect opportunity to see those licks in action. The workshop is set up too benefit the Artist in question only, all proceeds go to Toby. It's a grass roots thing so pass the info on to any pickers you know. There are other workshops with US guitar players in the coming few months, so please get in touch if you would like any information. As I said before, the artist gets 100% of all monies (less hall hire if the need arises), I ask for no remuneration, I always pay for my place if I attend as a player.
