Some great gigs coming up at The Cellars at Eastney that should appeal to all of you on the Barking Spider mailing list! Sunday 11th May: MAGGIE BELL....... the superb Stone The Crows singer, recent special guest at Led Zeppelin's 02 gig and well know for her theme tune to "Taggart" Tuesday 13 May: WRECKLESS ERIC...... Stiif Records legendary madman - back at The Cellars after a superb gig there a a while back - if you like John Otway and Alan Clayson, you'll LOVE Wreckless Eric! Weds 14th May JOHN FIDDLER...... half of the legendary Medicine Head, who did a storming gig at The Bullfrog Blues Club on the Pier a couple of years ago! Sunday 25th May: TERRY REID BAND...... amazing gig on the cards from one of the greatest guitar players ever, with his band! Tuesday 27th May: JOHN COUGHLAN'S QUO ........ what else can I say? If it's a band formed by original long-time Status Quo member John Coughlan, you know EXACTLY what you're gonna get! Saturday 14th June: THE MOVE........ they played the first gig back in Eastney last year - years,after appearing at The Birdcage Club back in the 60's!, Predictably they nearly rocked The Cellars off it's foundations!
