FAIRPORT ACOUSTIC CONVENTION at The New Theatre Royal, Guildhall Walk, Portsmouth Friday 19 October As many if you will know, Barking Spider have always had a great relationship with the one and only FAIRPORT CONVENTION. It's still nine months until next year's Cropredy Festival, so if you're suffering from withdrawal symptons don't miss Fairport Convention Acoustic this Friday at The New Theatre Royal! The line up is Simon Nicol (guitar, vocal), Chris Leslie (fiddle, mandolin, vocal), and Ric Sanders (violin) and Gerry Conway on percussion. Expect a mix of old and new songs from the new album "Off The Desk" alongside favourite classics from the extensive Fairport Convention repertoire. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm show.
