I am sorry to tell you that the Jon Amor gig this Wednesday at Bullfrog Blues At The Alma Arms is postponed as Jon has been advised by his doctor to rest his voice. We will be re-scheduling the gig for Wednesday 19th December, and the booking will be held for anyone who has paid in advance. If however, you are unable to attend on that date I will gladly refund your money in full. Here's a copy of the inital e mail I received from Jon earlier today.... J.R., I know this is very short notice, but I'm having terrible voice problems and have been advised by my doc to rest it for as long as possible. I have a tour of Canada beginning in a couple of weeks which is obviously pretty important, and I really cannot to do this week's gig at the Alma. I understand it may put you in an awkward position I'll happily re-schedule the gig for December or early next year. Apologies again for the short notice. Jon I'm very sorry about this, but as many of you know, Jon is one of the most genuine performers on the circuit and over the years has built a great relationship with The Bullfrog Blues Club and Barking Spider, and I am 100% convinced that if there was any way Jon could have done the gig that he would. If it's the latter, please send your address and who the cheque should be payable to. Alternatively, you can also get a cash refund at any Bullfrog Blues Club gig. Thanks. However, if you still need an injection of the blues this week, come and see PETE HARRIS & HUGH BUDDEN at The Bullfrog at The R.M.A.Tavern, Cromwell Rd., Eastney the following day, Thursday 18th October.
