Something special for Xmas for those of you on the Isle of Wight - or anyone who fancies a trip across the water to see some top class music!! Dollymopps Enterprises and "The Campaign for Real Music' Presents - "A Traditional Christmas" - With Keith Kendrick & Sylvia Needham he George Street Centre (Upper Room), Ryde, Isle Of Wight, Saturday 8th December Traditional folksong, tunes & carols in the style of The Watersons, The Young Tradition, Coope Boyes & Simpson etc. Keith Kendrick is a great singer and a master of the English concertina. He was in Ramsbottom, Muckram Wakes and The Druids (whose sought after LPs change hands for £100 upwards on E-bay). He then sang for many years in various combinations with the current kings of English traditional harmony singing Coope, Boyes & Simpson. He is currently working at London's Globe Theatre at the invitation of folk legend John Tams (of TV's "Sharpe" fame) on a production of "Holding Fire".
