This Wednesday (21st Nov) at the Bulfrog Blues @ The Alma we have a great night in store for you and Ticket Sales are going fast. A unique DOUBLE HEADER featuring to great women singer / song writers and their bands. Sally Strawberry And The Bad Apples and Della Perrett's Sweetedge To add a bit of extra gloss to evening Della, Sally and the bands will be introduced by Comedian Jeff Lane! Tickets are £5.00 each in advance and available online at http://www.barkingspider.abelgratis.com/html/tickets.shtml or on the door. As there two bands performnace will start earlier than usual at 8:30 so get there early. We've sold quite a few advance so if you can't make by 8:30 I recomend you reserver your ticket online, to avoid disapointment. Read on for more info in the bands and then book your tickets! Della Perrett's Sweetedge were finalists in this years Guide awards, and achieved second place! A strong songwriter, with many influences Della will present a varied set of original material ranging from acoustic rock through folk to reggae. She is joined on stage by her band Sweetedge featureing husband James Perrett on drums and Greg Gregory (An session, Mother Folkers) on bass. http://www.sweetedge.com Sally Stawberry is classy bluesinger. Her band The Bad Apples have recently expanded to a five piece band adding Mat Beable (ex Amor and Amy Wadge Band) on bass , Ed Hopkins on Piano and Ben Hill on Drums, to guitarists Chris Eaton & Adam Wheatly. They are currently working on a new album and will feature material from that at this gig.
