'Mick's distinctive talents are reiterated here: not only is he an idiomatic and deeply sensitive songwriter but also one of the very finest singers on the folk scene.....Mick is again blessed with spirited and well-judged accompaniments from the formidably talented Pete... ..This album's stamp of quality proudly proclaims that modern English folksong is well and truly alive and kicking.'
