Next Wednesday (August 8th) top notch Texan blues band LIGHTNIN' WILLIE AND THE POORBOYS are at the Cellars at Eastney, Cromwell Rd. Southsea. This a gig NOT TO BE MISSED!!!! Lightnin' Willie is a Texan-born blues singer/guitarist with a dynamic stage presence and a hot band, who headlined the Southsea Folk & Roots Festival blues day a couple of years back. A wonderfully charismatic player, larger than life and one hell of a showman! !
