Hello, As John Roberts still hasn't got email I thought I'd better keep you all informed.... This thursday is the second of our Bullfrog @ The R.M.A. gigs. Last week we had an encouraging start to the new format gigs with Denise Marie, from new Orleans. This week we have "Sugar Mama Uk". From they're website: -- Concentrating on original material and a fusion of creative acoustic guitar styles, Sugar Mama play using a whole host of innovative acoustic guitar techniques. They've toured in Holland, France and Belgium to great acclaim and have played at the St Ives (Cornwall) annual music festival and have regular gigs at Rick Stein's restaurant as well as many other venues. Their line-up is vocalist and acoustic/slide guitarist Dave Carson and guitarist Kyoko Monk. Dave has an extensive recording history including a solo project at the Pink Floyd studios in London collaborating with members of "The Cure", "Tom Robinson Band" and "The Selector". He also played in support of "Simple Minds" during their "New Gold Dream" tour. Recent projects include a blues duo with Hugh Budden of "The Producers".
