New Orleans - again.

Hi ,
I'm aware that many of you many have the same thoughts as the sender (I.D
not shown) of this message I recieved today...

Hi,
Please stick to the music and skip the politics . . .
Thanks,.

With this in mind, I feel in order to explain my rationale in sending the
original email I should show the reply I sent to the sender....

My reply:

Hi,

Sorry if you think I was being over political, but apart from the obvious
tragedy, New Orleans to me IS music, so many of our good friends who have
played over here at The Bullfrog are from New Orleans - Mike West, Spencer
Bohren, Denise Marie, Tony from The Gutter Brothers all live(d) there.

I've visited it numerous times and it was my favourite city in the world,
an amazing place that existed on a pulse beat of wonderful music and friendly
faces.

Without New Orleans the music wouldn't have developed to the rich mix we now
take for granted. And now it's all gone....

"Good morning America how are you?
Don't you know me I'm your native son,
I'm the train they call The City of New Orleans,
I'll be gone five hundred miles when the day is done".

(Steve Goodman)
