MO INDIGO at The Bullfrog Blues Club this Thursday

MO INDIGO, one of The Bullfrg Blues Club's favourite bands, are back ot the
club on South Parade Pier, Southsea this Thursday. (24th November)
Formed in August 1997 from the ashes of festival favourites 'Bluer than
Blue', MO INDIGO's first triumph was an acclaimed set at the Great British R'n'B
Festival 1997 in Colne, and since then they've rapidly risen to the forefront
of the British blues scene. Their soul tinged r & b and blues are
refreshingly melodic, infectiously rhythmic and stylishly delivered.
Support on the 1999 and 2000 Sherman Robertson tours led to work in The
U.S.A., Europe and throughout the U.K, including all the major blues festivals.
As well as being Chick Willis' band MO INDIGO have also backed John Mayall and
Larry Garner, and were the backing band for veteran U.S blues legends Earl
Gaines and Al Garner on their U.K. and European tour. The show came to The
Bullfrog, and was definitely a night to remember!
Reviewing their CD "We Accuse The Blues" on his B.B.C. show, Paul Jones
found it "Excellent!" whilst "Blueprint" magazine declared it "Absolutely
fantastic!" "Blueprint" also declared them the discovery of the Farnham Blues
Festival.
Don't miss MO' INDIGO at The Bullfrog Blues Club on Thursday - doors open at
8 p.m.
