WHITE KNUCKLE BLUES BAND win The News Guide Award category!

I'm very please to tell you that WHITE KNUCKLE BLUES BAND were winners of  
the best folk/roots category of The News Guide Awards  last night at The  
Theatre Royal. 
 
(Those of you who are confused at the category don't be - blues is  included 
under "roots"!)
 
 
 
White Knuckle Blues Band are one of hardest working bands on the circuit,  
and thoroughly deserve this accolade.  Steve Roux and Bernie Fox were on  hand 
to collect their much deserved award.
 
Don't forget White Knuckle Blues Band are at The Bullfrog Blues Club on  
Thursday 1st December! However, despite their new superstardom,  I've  negotiated 
with the guys that the ticket price will remain the same (and they're  still 
not getting a dressing room....)  
 
Special mention should go to Stacey, from well deserved runners up Kelly's  
Tattoo, who should have had a special award for "bloke who left the  auditorium 
the most times during the Awards Ceremony to replenish his  glass....". 
 
Congratulations to The News for hosting the first Awards. Let's hope this  
will be the first of many.
