Bullfrog Blues Club, South Parade Pier, Thursday 19th May: WHITE KNUCKLE BLUES BAND The Bullfrog Blues Club have a reputation of presenting the best blues bands and players from around the world, and sometimes it's easy to forget the real talent that we have on our own doorstep. Portsmouth based White Knuckle Blues Band are up there with the best of them. Last year White Knuckle Blues Band performed a blistering set at the prestigious "Blues At The Fort" event, one of the premier festivals on the blues calendar, giving top of the bill Sherman Robertson a hard act to follow. The guitarist for White Knuckle Blues Band is the redoubtable Steve Roux, with the well respected Bernie Fox on drums and the rock solid bass of Rob Vick. You won't see J.R. The Barking Spider himself this week, as he's in Memphis, he'll be trying to find a blues band to watch who are as good as WHITE KNUCKLE BLUES BAND! A hard task indeed. THE WHITE KNUCKLE BLUES BAND appear at The Bullfrog Blues Club, South Parade Pier, on Thursday 19th May. Doors open at 8 p.m.
