This Saturday at The R.M.A.

ANNE- MARIE HELDER of KARNATAKA at R.M.A. Tavern on Saturday 29th January
On Saturday, The R.M.A. is the setting for a rare duo gig, when the stunning
singer Anne-Marie Helder will be joined by Dave Kilminster on guitar. Both are
members of the band Karnataka, tipped by Classic Rock Magazine as their
"Future Classic" band.

Karnataka have been described as a cross between The Corrs and Pink Floyd at
their most melodic - powerful stuff indeed - and in the band, Anne-Marie
joins Rachel Jones as shared vocalist and flautist.  Anne -Marie also plays
guitar, flute, piano and a myriad of other instruments. A prolific writer, she
writes a great deal of material for herself, Karnataka and other bands which she
also belongs to on a part time basis.

Karnataka were  last seen in Southsea headlining  the Monday night at The
Southsea Folk & Roots Festival in 2003, when they performed a stunning set, and
received a standing ovation form the audience. Last year Karnataka supported
Midge Ure at the Isle Of Wight Festival, and he was so impressed that Anne-Marie
is suporting him on many up and coming dates on his 2005 tours.

Guitarist Dave Kilminster, also a member  of Karnataka, has just returned
from the U.S.A. playing for  Keith Emerson and The Scorpions.

ANNE- MARIE HELDER with DAVE KILMINSTER of KARNATAKA appear at the R.M.A.
Tavern in Cromwell Rd., Eastney, on Saturday 29th January - admission is free
