Thursday 14th April Bullfrog Blues Club, South Parade Pier, Southsea - EVENING SUN BLUES BAND The Evening Sun Blues Band is the brainchild of Dave Raphael, one of the busiest bluesmen on the circuit, also fronting Ruckus Bues and his own Dave Raphael Blues Band. Dave is one of the best blues harmonica players in the country but in Evening Sun he also plays keyboards, and sings and writes many of the band's original songs. The band also features Terry Hotston on drums, Dave Bowles on guitar, Ken Bannister on bass and Vanessa Lewendon on keyboards This incredibly experienced band positively oozes class, and their interesting mix of styles produce "in your face" rocking blues straight out of the top drawer. EVENING SUN BLUES BAND appear on Thursday 14th April at The Bullfrog Blues Club, South Parade Pier, Southsea. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets available on the door.
