Thursday 23.9.04: Bullfrog Blues Club, South Parade Pier, Southsea: DANNY BRYANT's REDEYE BAND The RedEyeBand are a powerhouse trio led by Danny Bryant, a true guitar virtuoso with an amazing ability to wring every last drop out of his guitar, whose singing perfectly compliments his playing. The rest of the band consist of Danny's father, Ken, on bass and Andy Burt on drums. Danny Bryant's RedEye Band have played blues festivals, at Colne, Burnley, Blues on the Farm, Maryport, Kirkby, Castlebar , Harelbeke Festival in Belgium, and have made a significant impact on the blues scene in Holland, France and Germany. One of Danny's most famous friends and fans is Walter Trout, who loves to jam together with Danny, as has been witnessed at some of his concerts over the past couple of years. The final word must go to Walter himself: "He's the finest up and coming guitarist in the U.K. - Danny Bryant and his band kick ass!!" Doors open 8 p.m, as usual.
