Sunday 14th October, South Parade Pier: LIMEHOUSE LIZZY "The boys are back in town" when Limehouse Lizzy appear at The Bullfrog Blues Club at South Parade Pier on Thursday. The club is moving into The Gaiety Suite on the Pier for the gig, as befits one of the most popular and powerful rock bands on the planet. Thin Lizzy’s classic double album ‘Live & Dangerous’, recently celebrated its 25th birthday, but thanks to Limehouse Lizzy, the world's top Thin Lizzy tribute band, "Lizzymania" shows no sign of abating. ‘Live & Dangerous’, has been described by critics and fans alike as the greatest live rock album ever, and its 46 week album chart residency underlines the point. Limehouse Lizzy will no doubt be featuring all the classic Thin Lizzy repertoire, including ‘Jailbreak’, ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’, ‘Don’t Believe A Word’, ‘Rosalie’ and the phenomenally successful ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’. The Gaiety on South Parade Pier is a venue which recaptures the feel of the original seventies concerts - the perfect venue for a Limehouse Lizzy concert. Support will be by local blues rock band The Mustangs, who recently appeared at The Brent Festival and Lambeth Festival in London to great acclaim. Limehouse Lizzy appear at The Gaiety on South Parade Pier on Thursday 14th October.
