Hi all, The good news is that BEN ANDREWS will be appearing at The Bullfrog Blues Club this Thursday (7th October), after all!! And to make things even better, it's a double header with CLAUDE BOURBON! !!!!!! A true United Nations gig! Here's a message from John Adams, Ben Andrews' U.K tour agent, which should makes things much clearer..... From John ADAMS: "Why is life so complicated?.......Don't answer that, it was purely rhetorical. Thank you, the many who sent their best wishes to Ben for a speedy recovery. Ben has actually been in a clinic near Heathrow Airport & has contacted me this morning. He is fully recovered & wishes to continue his tour with those venues that can accommodate him so as not to let so many fans down. I have spoken to as many venues as I can & so far most have re-booked him as so many people expressed their disappointment. This has been a difficult time for both Ben & I, but I hope we can salvage something from this....many of you know that when Ben is on-form there is nobody in the World who can touch him. He says he has his old energy back & is raring to go. This is, I suppose, Rock & Roll by any other name & I'm sure you will all have your own recollections in the past of musical geniuses needing extra support in their careers. Right now I'm giving my support to Ben." John Adams And so am I, and I hope everyone who attends The Bullfrog will join me in this. Special thanks must go to Claude Bourbon, who is also lending his support to Ben by his magnanimous gesture of sharing the stage with him. THIS WILL BE A MAGNIFICENT EVENING - DON'T MISS IT, WHATEVER YOU DO!!!!!! Don't be late for this full evening of the best blues around from two of the very best players on the scene!!!!!!!! Doors open at 8 p.m. at The Bullfrog Blues Club, South Parade Pier, SOUTHSEA. Tickets are £8 on the door.
