St Pat's at The Pier!!!! This Wednesday!!!!

ST PATRICK'S DAY CELEBRATION  AT  SOUTH PARADE PIER WEDS 17TH MARCH

This Wednesday 17th March, is St Patrick's Day!!!!!

Two of the most popular Celtic bands on the South Coast are getting together
to present a superb night's entertainment on South Parade Pier, Southsea.

Father Jack - Portsmouth's very own  Music & Formation Drinking Team - will
be on hand with raucous songs, jigs, reels and general mayhem  from Stacey
(banjo, fiddle and cider),  Paffs  (bodhran and percussion), Joe (guitar), Greg
(bass),  and J.R on spoons and vocals.

Stacey will be the busiest musician of the evening, as he also plays for
Kelly's Tattoo, whose members also include the enigmatically named  U Boat Joe and
vocalist Phil Chunky. The band feature spirited vocals from the pens of such
artistes as The Sawdoctors, The Pogues, The Waterboys and Steve Earle.

Father Jack and Kelly's Tattoo will join together for the finale, the success
of which depends on the state of the two bands by the time the night has worn
off.

As befits the occasion, Lord & Lady Gnome will also be on hand with the  Big
Green Raffle - all the prizes are green... so bring your green folding stuff
too!

St. Patricks Day Celebration with Father Jack and Kelly's Tattoo is at The
Albert Tavern, South Parade Pier, Southsea, on Wednesday 17th March. Doors open
at 8.p.m. Tickets available on the door - just £5 - first band on at
8.30.p.m.
