Aynsley Lister - The Bullfrog Blues Club, South Parade Pier, Southsea, Thursday 1st July. Aynsley Lister has been playing the occasional solo gig to great acclaim. His recent solo CD, the enigmatically named "Superkev & Pilchards", was recorded at The Bullfrog Blues Club, and Aynsley is back with another solo gig at The Bullfrog on Thursday 1st July. No stranger to the Bullfrog, Aynsley Lister played his first semi professional gig at 13, and shortly after played support to Coco Montoya's band in San Francisco, and at 18 put his first band together. Aynsley has an impressive list of support slots to his credit, including artists such as Buddy Guy, Jools Holland, John Mayall, Robert Cray, and Bryan Adams. Aynsley Lister appears at The Bullfrog Blues Club, South Parade Pier, Southsea, on Thursday 1st July. Doors open at 8 p.m.
