BLUES AT THE ABBEY/FOLK AT THE ABBEY This years events at Titchfield Abbey near Fareham will take place on Friday 16th July (Folk At The Abbey) and Saturday 17th July 2004 (Blues At The Abbey). Tickets for Folk At The Abbey 2004 are now on sale, priced at £10 if purchased before the event and £12 at the gate, if still available on the day. Tickets for Blues At The Abbey 2004 are now on sale, priced at £15 if purchased before the event and £17 at the gate if still available on the day. Although there's a 2000 capacity, tickets usually sell out though (they did in 2003!) so you are strongly advised to purchase well in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be purchased in cash from the following outlets: The Queens Head Hotel, High Street, Titchfield. Hadlow the Butcher (South Street, Titchfield. The Fisherman's Rest, Mill Lane, Titchfield. Please note that you can not order by telephone at these locations, you must purchase/obtain the tickets in person. You can also obtain your tickets in person or by phone (credit/debit card) from the following outlets: The Tourist Information Centre, West Street, Fareham - 01329 221342. The Tourist Information Centre, South Street, Gosport - 023 9252 2944 The Wedgewood Rooms Box Office, Albert Road, Southsea - 023 9286 3911 Picnics are welcome but please only bring your soft drinks in plastic containers.There is no seating provided,so visitors are encouraged to bring their own, e.g., picnic chairs, or blankets. There are no reserved positions: it's first come first served Please note: No bottles or cans are allowed to be brought with you inside the venue -any brought to the event must be left at the gate and collected afterwards. There will be a licensed bar on site, as well as a range of food outlets.
