This Thursday at The Bullfrog Blues Club on South Parade Pier,
Southsea,,.....

DAVE SPECTER, appearing with Sonny Black's band! Sonny has brought Dave over
from the U.S.A. as he admires him so much - praise indeed!

Since 1985 Dave Specter has performed regularly at top Chicago and U.S.
clubs, festivals and concerts, in addition to international appearances, earning
an international reputation as one of the premier talents on the Chicago blues
scene.

Before forming his own band in 1989, Specter toured extensively throughout
the U.S.A and Europe behind such blues greats as Son Seals, The Legendary Blues
Band, Hubert Sumlin, Sam Lay and Steve Freund.

Dave has also performed and recorded with such artists as Buddy Guy, Junior
Wells, Otis Rush, Jimmy Rogers, Robert Jr. Lockwood, Jack McDuff, Snooky Pryo
r, Kim Wilson, Magic Slim, Lonnie Brooks, Ronnie Earl, Pinetop Perkins and
Sunnyland Slim.

Dave's 1991 release"Bluebird Blues" reached the No. 1 spot on both the
"Living Blues" national radio charts and the Tower Records blues charts. "Blues
Access" magazine called his CD, "Left Turn on Blue," "an absolutely gorgeous
blend of vintage blues and jazz."

Dave Specter also appears on compilation CDs with artists such as Eric
Clapton, Carlos Santana, B.B. King, Muddy Waters and Junior Wells, and has recently
been featured in "Guitar Player" and "Downbeat" magazines.

This promises to be a CRACKING gig - if Sonny Black rates him, who are we to
say different?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

See you at The Bullfrog on Thursday 22nd January for a superb night of the
blues!
