What? KENT DUCHAINE at The R.M.A. in January!

Stop press!

KENT DUCHAINE will be at The R.M.A. Tavern on TUESDAY 18th January!!!!!! Can
you believe it? FREE ENTRY too!

Kent's a true nomad who has wandered the world playing the blues since 1968.
For the last 18 years he's travelled mostly with just "Leadbessie" along for
company. She's a beat-up old National steel guitar kitted out with extra heavy
strings to cope with his ferociously powerful style.

A native of Minnesota, DuChaine developed his style listening to the music of
Robert Johnson, Lightning Hopkins, T-Bone Walker, Muddy Waters and Elmore
James. As his skill developed he backed up blues legends like Big Walter Horton,
and Hubert Sumlin. He then went on to share the bill with BB King, Albert
King, John Lee Hooker, Howling Wolf, Bukka White, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells and many
more.

In 1990, he met and established a partnership with the legendary bluesman
Johnny Shines. For nearly three years and 200 shows he worked with Johnny Shines,
helping the older bluesman to rediscover his skills and reach a wider
audience.

Since Shines' death in April 1992 DuChaine has been running the roads hard,
spreading his style of delta blues, urban blues and original music, to all whom
will listen. He divides his time performing in the United States, the UK,
Europe, and Scandinavia. When not performing his music, he is trying to catch a
big ole bass on beautiful Lake Eufaula near his home in Georgia.

A FREE ENTRY gig! All I ask is that you dig deep and give genorously when we
pass the hat, because we have to pay this guy more than the pub can afford,
and licensees Steve & Sally don't want to change their FREE ENTRY TO ALL GIGS
policy, but what an opportunity!!!!!!!!

DON'T MISS THIS!!!!!!!!
