Spidermobile for sale!

A rare opportunity to purchase a genuine artefact!

J.R. of Barking Spider is selling the Barking Spider van! This is an ideal
opportunity to buy a camper/loadcarrier for a very reasonable price, ideal for
any band or festival go-er.

There's loads of room to carry a full P.A. rig, lots of instruments (not just
spoons...) and still seat five people. The side opening door allows easy
loading and there's a separate area behind a bulkhead at the back which can also
hold loads of equipment, which at present contains two mountain bikes (with
the wheels still on).

The van is a 1992 (K reg.) Fiat Ducato 1.9 diesel hi-top caravanette
conversion, (it's an ex AA van) and can sleep four people, two on an upper sleeping
platform, which folds away

There's a cooker, an electric pump and tap delivering a water supply, and
it's fully wired for hook up to a mains electric supply with three pin plugs
installed inside.

It's absolutely ideal for any band as there's loads of room to carry P.A.
gear and still seat five people.

The side opening door allows easy loading and there's a separate area behind
a bulkhead at the back which can also hold loads of equipment, which at
present contains two mountain bikes - with the wheels still on!

There is far more room in this than a VW van/camper.

There's a secondary battery supply, a CD player, loads of storage space in
two large overhead lockers, space beneath the rear bench seats which contains
camping equipment, cooking utensils etc (included) , and separate enclosed
storage behind the bulkhead too.

There's a built in awning to the side which folds away when not in use,
which is great for setting up on campsite.

There's a strong steel box safe behind the swivel "captainstyle" front
passenger seat.

The van is taxed for four months and has a long MOT.

It's been in use daily since I've owned it since Spring 2002, and It's never
let me down apart from when the cam belt went last year, necessitating a full
 engine rebuild.

It ALWAYS starts first time and, being a diesel, is very economical,
returning around 30 mpg around town.

It's well experienced in festival going, having carted gear (and bodies)
around for the last three Isle Of Wight Festivals, Blues At The Abbey, Folk At
The Abbey, Cropredy, etc. etc. I've used it to cart the entire contents of a
house to Ireland before (not in one go though, I must admit) and even a full size
piano! It's toured all over Ireland and never let me down.

It's had a few bumps and knocks but the bodywork is in pretty good nick all
things considered. It's high mileage but, hey, it's a diesel, they go on
forever!

I hate to sell this van, the most useful vehicle I've ever owned. The only
reason for sale is that my wife has bought a brand new Renault Kangoo and I've
bought a Ford Galaxy to convey bands on tour, and can't afford to insure three
vehicles. Amd anyway, it's not ecologically cool to own too many vehicles,
maaaan....

All this can be yours for a mere £1,250 o.n.o. - ring J.R. on 07970 959793 or
