Re my last (see below) the session will start about 8.30.pm. As part of the Southsea Folk & Roots Festival, fiddle player and banjoist extraordinaire Stacey (from Father Jack, Kelly's Tattoo and An Seisiun), will be hosting a traditional session in the official Festival pub, The Florence Arms, Florence Road, Southsea on Bank Holiday Monday 30th August. Celtic, English, Cape Breton, Old Timey, Appalachian.... in fact all styles will probably be represented! All musicians (and banjo players....), singers and listeners welcome! Admission free, beer isn't.........
