TOMOORW Tuesday 3rd August AT THE R.M.A Tavern, Cromwell Rd The irrepresible MIKE WEST from New Orleans is a banjo player with a batch of the quirkiest songs you'll hear this side of the Mississippi. This longhaired skinny hillbilly hippie writes about the joys of eating squirrels, yard sales (car boots to you..), rednecks and every subject under a delta moon, appears at The R.M.A. Tavern this Tuesday. Mike's no stranger to this area, he's played the bandstand supporting Woodstock legend Country Joe McDonald and on his last visit packed out the Railway Folk Club. Miss this gig at your peril - he's absolutely wondeful - one of the most entertaining singer songwriters in the world!
