OTWAY's back! !

John Otway is back with two gigs in the area over the early May bank holiday
weekend!

After a sell out visit to "The Simeon Arms" at Ryde on The Isle Of Wight last
September, (as the first gig on the now legendary "Otway Rocks The Rocks"
tour), Otway's back at "The Simeon Arms" on Sunday, May 2nd - and as it's a
bank holiday, you don't have to worry about a late night!!!!!

Otway's last visit was a total sell out, and this time he's back with his
sidekick Richard Holgarth to play some tasty guitar (whilst John plays his usual
crap guitar).

"The Simeon Arms", in Simeon St., Ryde, Isle Of Wight, is a small pub with a
rear function room, so this will be an intimate gig with VERY LIMITED
NUMBERS!  Tickets are £8, and available at "The Simeon Arms" at any time they're
open, and you can also e mail to reserve through J.R. at Barking Spider -
spiderpromos@aol.com.

"The Simeon Arms" is  only  a few minutes walk from the Portsmouth/Ryde
ferry, and there are late ferries running. Why not make a day of it ? If you
can't, dont despair, Wightlink do a good deal on half day ferry tickets.

On Bank Holiday Monday, May 3rd, Otway and Richard are at The Hobbitt, in
Southampton, for an afternoon outdoor gig. Support is by The Amazing Mr.
Smith. Tickets are just £4, and available anytime from "The Hobbitt" or from The
Wedgewood Rooms Box Office, Albert Rd., Southsea, (23) 9286 3911. The music
contimnues into the night with variuos other bands, right up until 2 a.m. -
the best four quid's worth of entertainment you'll find anywhere!
