Friday 3rd October t The R.M.A. - "OX" The line up of top free gigs at The R.M.A.Tavern in Cromwell Road, Eastney goes from strength to strength - on Friday 3rd October you can see "OX" - a.k.a. Mark Browning; a great Canadian singer songwriter who is on tour in the U.K. with his band, but is taking a special trip to play solo at free concert at The R.M.A.. If you like Neil Young’s HARVEST or Bob Dylan’s JOHN WESLEY HARDING, you’ll love this guy. Browning has a knack for getting to the heart of matters in everyday life and love.This isn’t just folk music, this is real and this is life. Ox's last album was top the Canadian college charts throughout last summer -keeping Radiohead from the coveted no. 1 spot! A recent review of an Ox concert in the Canadian newspaper "Georgia Straight" reported : "Playing solo, Browning delved into his repertoire of songs to keep the packed crowd mesmerized.
