DERVISH- next Monday in Southsea

Don't miss DERVISH, one of the all time great traditional Irish bands at
South Parade Pier on Monday 1st December!!!!!!

aprt from Southsea, DERVISH's only other U.K. dates on this tour are Leeds
and Birmingham.

Last year DERVISH were due to play Southsea, a week after their mindblowing
gig headlining the Isle Of Wight "Roots In The Garden" Festival, after which
they returned to Ireland to fulfill a commitment there. However, T an Aer
Lingus strike prevented them getting back from Ireland to England to play the
Southsea gig.

DERVISH were formed in 1989 and soon became one of the most sought after
acts on the live music circuit. The release of two albums in the USA saw the
demand for the band take off on a worldwide scale. Their career has taken them
to every corner of the globe and has seen them share centre stage with such
names as James Brown, The Buena Vista Social Club, Oasis, Sting, REM, Beck and
many more.

Support at the Southsea concert will be Mal Simms of LEGACY.
