This years festival blues jam takes place on Friday 24th August at the Florence Arms, Florence Road, Southsea. (Just round the corner from the main Festival on South Parade Pier). As in the previous few years it will be acoustic orientated, but there will be a electric amp for them's of you that really don't do acoustic, but there won't be drum kit. The Jam will be hosted by Andy Broad, Matt Beckwith, and Adam Franklin otherwise known and Rocks and Gravel. All blues musicians welcome, be they guitarist, singer, harmonica player, sax, trumpet, accordian, ... well you get the idea :-) The evening is intended to be Jam rather than a open mike, but there will probably be scope for individual spots, it largely depends on who turns up. Please try to get there early if you want to play. We'll start jammin' at arround 8:30. Non players are ofcourse welcome to come and watch! Andy Broad
