There will be two (or more) fringe events taking place at the "The Florence Arms" Florence Road, Southsea. Friday 27th August. The Festival Blues Jam hosted by Andy Broad with The Continentals. After supporting Amor at the pier on the opening night of the festival Andy, Buster, Tim and Russ invite you all to this years festival blues jam at the Florence Arms. They'll kick things things off at arround 8:30 to 9:00 with a few continentals standards to get things rolling and then open the floor to any that want to join in. So bring you axe, sax, harp or whatever and lets have a great jam! Sunday 29th August Acousticat. Magick Khats acoustic spinoff will be perfoming a special set at the Florence on Sunday Evening. If you enjoy then on saturday when the full band will be supporting Arthur Brown then you'll want to get down there to see this! Both these events are free admission but festival raffle tickets will be on sale and collecting buckets will available to "look after" your spare change and of course Greg the Landlord will very happy if you drink lot's of his excellent beer. More events may be arranged and there will also be fringe events at the R.M.A. Tavern
