Welcome to this months news letter.... Starting this month I'm going to be cross posting this to my myspace blog (and thus via the wonders of RSS feeds into my artists pages at Last.fm) and also to my iacmusic.com blog. Hopefully trying to spread the word that little bit further without too much extra typing... Mainly just gig news this month: *gigs* Sunday November 2nd The Florence Arms, Florence Road, Southsea 12:00 till 2:30 Andy Broad's Blues and Jazz Jam. The monthly jam has come round again, please do come down for a laidback friendly lunchtime session. All players and listeners welcome! Greg (the landlord) serves great food and fine Ciders, and ofcourse beer! Tuesday November 4th The Kitch n D'or Restaurant and Wine bar Andy Broad - Jazz Guitar The Kitsch has now oppened their new wine bar extention so you can come down for a drink as well as a meal. Please remeber to book as last week was sold out! (That doesn't happen all the time but it great when it does!) Thursday November 6th *** Cancelled Due Too Double Booking *** If you were planning on coming to see me at O'Neills in Winchester, then there been a double booking and I'm no longer playing. One of those old manager / new manager diary things. Thankfully I sent them posters, so they alerted in advance, I'll be back in the new year if all goes to plan. Friday November 7th The Bent Brief - Portswood Southampton Andy Broad And Matt Beckwith Classic guitar / harmonica duo. Always a good gig! Tuesday November 11th The Kitch n d'or - Eldon Street Southsea Andy Broad - Jazz Guitar Wednesday November 12th The Cellars @ Eastney - Cromwell Road, Eastney, Portsmouth The Bullfrog Blues Club presents: Kent DuChaine support by Andy Broad A great evening of delta blues, featuring Kent DuChaine from Minnesota, USA. Kent is a fabulous entertainer with many stories to tell of his time touring with Johnney Shines (he himslef travelled with Robert Johnson!) Looking forward to this one! This one invitaion only, but if you want to book us for you own birthday party, wedding, christening, new years do, or whatever give me an email and we'll be happy to oblige. Anything from acoustic jazz to full blown electric blues... Sunday 30th November The Fat Fox - Victoria Road South, Southsea 6pm till 8pm **The Sally Strawberry Revue** Come down to the Fat Fox for a great Sunday afternnoon featuring the fabulous vocals of Sally Strawberry (accompanied by Andy Broad and Mags Wylie). Acoustic blues and swing meets French jazz! Entrance if free! **** Monday December 15th **** The Albert Bar, South Parade Pier, Southsea. The Bullfrog Blues Club presents: The Swing Commanders supported by The Sally Strawberry Revue A great eveing of Western Swing, Jazz Blues and more!
