After a slow middle period to January the gigs are really picking up with a totally hectic weekend to come at the beginning of February. Here's what were up to. * Thursday 31st January The Half Brick, Worthing Rocks And Gravel - opening for Chris Farlow, Miller Anderson and Bob Brookes We'll be doing our acoustic set tonight joined by Blackie (from Burnt Ice) on percussion. If you had tickets for the previous gig when Chris was delayed at Heathrow, I understand that they are valid for tonight performance, otherwise it's £12.00 to get into the back, bar but you can see us for free! * Friday 1st February The Lamb Hotel - Hartney Wintney Andy Broad and Matt Beckwith Acoustic blues with harmonica. Back up the M3 to one of our favourite duo gigs! * Sunday 3rd February Lunchtime 12:00 - 2:30 The Florence Blues And Jazz Jam - Florence Arms, Southsea A couple of hours of laid back jamming hosted by Andy Broad * Monday 4th February The Fat Fox - Junction of Albert Road and Victoria Road South, Southsea The Continentals - Featuring Andy Broad and Buster Wingham Texas and Chicago inspired rhythm and blues and the newest of the Bullfrog Blues Club Venues. Great real ales on sale, with a great music room with stage and a good view, and plenty of seating. * Tuesday 5th February The Kitsch n d'or - Eldon Street Southsea Andy Broad and Mags Wylie Jazz Guitar and Bass, another set of mellow bluesey jazz and latin. So that's 5 gigs in 6 days not too bad but it leaves Saturday 5th free, so why not get down to the Nelle Gwynne in Southsea to see Della Perrett (sax player from Burnt Ice) perform with her band Sweetedge, playing her acoustic orientated original material. I challenge you to do all six! (but it would great to see you at just one or two :-)) Andy STOP PRESS: Just taken a booking for February 14th at The Keystone, Portsmouth Road, Guildford so the rest of feb is shaping up well, more details after the weekend.
